Aquatech Heating Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the heating and plumbing industry. In that time we have sourced many different heat pumps manufactured in countries such as Japan, Sweden, Canada and Germany.

From past experiences we have gained extensive knowledge in selecting the best and most suitable heat pump for our countries climate and type of heating systems used. In our efforts to get suitable products, we encountered AIRO one of the largest manufacturers in the world of heat pumps and air conditioning units. After witnessing the quality of their products and their unbelievable fault rate of 0.27% we decided this was the ideal partner for Aquatech.

Airo Heat Pump Split System

  • The split system consists of an indoor and outdoor unit.
  • The outdoor unit produces the systems energy requirements and transfers it to the indoor unit where the energy is used
    to supply the buildings heating and hot water demands.
  • The main controller for the heat pump is built into the indoor unit, but can be located elsewhere in the building.
  • The indoor unit consists of a plate heat exchanger, variable speed “A” rated circulating pump, dry run protection switch for the pump, 2 back up electric immersion heaters, pressure gauge, automatic air vent and 3 bar safety valve as standard.
  • The external unit consists of the evaporator, DC fan, electronic expansion valve, DC two stage compressor, defrost heater on the bottom tray to prevent freezing and external sensor as standard.
  • Heats hot water to between 55°C and 60°C using the compressor only.
  • 5 year warranty

Airo Integrated Heat Pump Split System

  • The split system consists of an indoor and outdoor unit.
  • This is similar to the Split System but is now an All-in-One System with cylinder – total package: controls, cylinder and connections in one unit

Available in the following sizes:

  • AIRO 6KW Split heat pump with 250 LTR Combination Hot water R32 GAS
  • AIRO 9KW Split heat pump with 250 LTR Combination Hot water R32 GAS
  • AIRO 12KW Split heat pump with 250 LTR Combination Hot water R32 GAS

Airo Heat Pump Monobloc System

  • The monobloc system consists of an all in one outdoor unit with refrigeration gases contained exclusively in the outside unit. With this monobloc unit there is also an inside unit which contains the heat pump interface/controller, pump, and diverting valve for DHW priority also 3 to 6 kw back up system.
  • It operates in a similar manner to the split system and produces the heating and hot water requirements for your building.
  • Heats water from 55°C to 65°C using only the compressor without the requirement of back up immersion heaters.
